A fruit they say, does not fall far from the tree and so it therefore comes as no surprise that the first son
of late Christian Atsu, Joshua has started with his exploits.
This comes off after the young gentleman won himself, the Northumberland Football League's Player of
the Year award, a feat quite astounding.
Joshua plays the under-9 division and has been outstanding, leaving no room for doubt that, the future
of football is promising and he will be one of the standouts.
The future they say, belongs to those who don't just dream but also live it, and as such the
Northumberland football league in England offers the opportunity for the talents of children and youth
to be unraveled and this is where the young gentleman has started his journey.
This comes off as a fresh breath, following what the family has had to face because of the tragic demise
of their father, Ghanaian, and Turkish player, the late Christian Atsu whose demise shook and broke the
hearts of many.
A very big congratulations to the young lad knowing that whichever path he chooses, he will be the best
for himself, his family, and his country.
